Sophisticated and intimate dining, perfect for celebrating a special occasion. Tinto is an intimate Basque tapas bar and restaurant serving small plates typical of northeastern Spain’s pintxo bars, complemented by the region’s ciders, sangrias and of course, a great deal of wine. Tinto’s exclusive second-floor private dining room boasts a separate bathroom that allows for truly private events of up to 20 guests. The first-floor dining room is also a popular choice for its generous capacity – up to 44 guests – and its central location just off iconic Rittenhouse Square. Estimated $700-$1,100 food and beverage minimum for 30-70 guests for 2 hour events. 3 course meals options, reception menu, lunch, wine pairings, and open bar options!

Having travelled in Northern Spain for six weeks, this is as close, if not on par, with the lovely local N Spanish cuisine. Starting with the lamb brochettes, and then the trout with ham, and ending with the rich flavored but mildly sweet real Almond cake, Tinto’s hit the mark each time. Staff was friendly, helpful and gave us just the right amount of space. Recommend going on early side as it gets filled up after 730. Enjoy!!

Highly underrated! Excellent service, fresh and delicious tapas style dishes that leave you wanting to try more! Really enjoyed the sirloin and the meatballs. Again, the staff here are incredible. Will definitely return

Had a family dinner here, place was so hidden but so cute! Highly recommend tasting menu with wine pairing and having Anthony as your waiter! The flexibility of having the waiter choose which wine will be able to fit the entrees is so amazing! Pricing was reasonable for what you received. The only one we didn't prefer was the salad dressing was a little too salty. Other than that perfect family dinner, great food, and great service!

Great experience. A lot of delicious food. Highly recommend for dinner with friends or a romantic occasion. I'd suggest the Chef's choice. You'll love it! Prepare to eat a lot and save some room for dessert!
