Designed by brothers Buzz and Nick BeLer to evoke the elegant supper clubs of 1940’s Manhattan, The Prime Rib Restaurant opened in Baltimore, Md. in 1965. The Prime Rib quickly became a favorite destination. Our menu of prime meats, fresh seafood and thick chops was as appealing to diners in the 1960’s as it is today. Everything about The Prime Rib, from our tuxedoed waitstaff, top quality food, and live piano and bass music nightly was intended to make every occasion feel like a special one. “Dazzling this town with tender, aged steaks and pampering service since 1965” says The Baltimore Sun. In 1976 our second location in Washington D.C. soon established itself as the top power spot in the Nation’s Capital. Our third location opened in Philadelphia’s Warwick Hotel in 1997. Just a block from historic Rittenhouse Square, it also garnered top honors including “Best Steak” from Philadelphia Magazine. The Philadelphia Inquirer advised its readers to “step back into the era of the supper club, where leopard-print carpeting, live jazz, stiff cocktails and comfy leather chairs offer an ideal ambiance.” Celebrate your special event in one of our three private rooms which accommodate 10-70 persons. The food and beverage Minimum is $2,500. Any amount under $2,500 would be applied as a room fee. -Multi course group menus from $130-$150 per person +8% tax and 20% gratuity.

After a long few days in town I wanted to unwind with a nice glass of wine. This was the perfect place. Live piano music and friendly staff. I did not eat but everyone's meal look delicious.

For the hype and price I thought it would be better. I could only describe the signature prime rib as average. The atmosphere was fantastic, but the food was sub par for the price point. The Penicillin cocktail was fantastic though! Perfectly made.

Located in the heart of Center City Philly is a succulent cut of beef ready to satiate the hungriest of carnivores! The Prime Rib delivers the goods in a very upscale establishment where even THIS jaroni felt comfortable. Top Billings go to The Prime Rib as this is a top end a la cart restaurant. Every surface was perfectly clean, polished and inviting. Serviced was quick and attentive without being intrusive. Prices are as you would expect. Remember that steaks will be under cooked compared to other restaurants. If you order medium it will come out rare. And dessert is delicious! I recommend get something with chocolate and get bourbon!
