About

At The Palm, our philosophy is simple: treat guests like family, serve great food and always exceed expectations. That philosophy was born in 1926, when Pio Bozzi and John Ganzi opened the first Palm in New York City. From day one, Pio and John shared their commitment to quality and a generosity of spirit with every guest who walked through their doors. What began as a restaurant became a second home to a vibrant cast of artists and writers, tycoons and civic leaders, screen stars and working families. And so it continues today…a place to not only enjoy a spectacular meal but also catch up with old friends, meet new ones, close business deals and celebrate family milestones. Unique in that we are still owned and operated by members of the Bozzi and Ganzi families, The Palm continues to serve as a place where you can take a moment, connect through real conversations and enjoy an exceptional meal with the important people in your life. Celebrate your special event in our Private Franklin Room which accommodates up to 45 guests seated. Food and beverage spending minimums depend on day of the week: Fri and Sat. $2,300- $2,500 Our private wine room accommodates up to 10 guests seated. (Group menu recommended). No spending minimum. Multi-course dinner menus from $70-$100

We had a great time. The food was outstanding (probably the best veal chop I've ever had) and the staff was attentive and friendly. We would absolutely go back!

The food is great. Had the filet and sea bass with asparagus and mashed potatoes. All sides are served for 2 people so be mindful when ordering. Entrees come as is without sides so you have to order it if you want one. The drinks were not great. Mojito lacked body and flavor and no mint- key element of mojito. Ginger ale they served came from a glass bottle served at room temperature so it tasted more like a well drink. The waiter was working 4 tables in the area we were sitting and was very business like - straightforward and quick to remove plates and run the credit card. Seemed more robotic and less personable. Decor is odd. Dark wood and seating make it appear more sophisticated then the painted caricatures of people on the wall threw the atmosphere off. They have valet parking for $21 and you can text to get your car pulled up ahead of time. For the price and name I expected more in terms of service...it wasn’t bad - but left something to be desired. Greeters were very nice and general manager asked if we were doing well which was nice. Dress is business casual.

Last night was the first time at the Palm. It was a group of 6 women and we really enjoyed ourselves. Everything was wonderful. The food and the services. We all went on about the food and the service. We each had something different and there were no complaints. Everything was perfectly cooked. The desserts are huge. Those donuts were light but crispy.

Dinner after the Alvin Ailey show at The Palm. I was able to walk in and get a table without an reservation. It being so close to the Arts I would make a reservation if I was with a large group. Bartender and waiter was Terrance was nice and attentive. He also engaged in good conversation about the shows in the area.
