Love the room we were in. Very spacious and loved the fact that it was setup like a small one bedroom apartment, with the living space and bedroom space separate. Only problem was the bathroom. It needs an upgrade. The bathroom sink was plugged and would not drain. We ended up having to brush our teeth out in the small kitchen sink. The faucet to the tub was loose and you can clearly see it needed to be fixed.

I would rate this as “ok” if it wasn’t as expensive as it was. For the cost of a “nice” hotel there were a lot of disappointing features: - freezing room that even when you turn on the heat cold air comes out - our fridge was unplugged so we didn’t realize nothing was refrigerated until the next day - no hot water for shower - their elevator system is painfully slow - poor condition of room itself (broken things throughout The only pro is a cool location with a decent view.

The room itself was huge and I was surprised how quiet it was from the other people in the hotel. I didn’t even really hear another shower running. The traffic outside was louder but it could be that I was facing the city. The bathrooms need an update and the showers are not meant for tall people. Also the elevators are small, have a weird system to request it and they take forever! Great managers reception staff, the rest of the staff were okay.

Loved it, complimentary breakfast including hot grill for fresh eggs made to order. Almond milk vegan option for coffee was a win! Fresh hot waffles! Also happy hour daily with complimentary wine and beer! Very friendly and accommodating staff. Having a room above the kitchen was a downside though. The repetitive stacking of glass dishes woke us up at 5am. Asked for an ironing board and it never came cause hotel is just so big, but got one for the next day at 2am super fast. Loved the cleanliness of our room. Took an hour for hotel shuttle to get us from the airport, that was disappointing. All in all, great perks and friendly staff made for a good stay. Other inconvenience was they hold $50 per day of your stay on your card for incidentals. That seemed excessive.

The hotel is a unique 12-sided column downtown. The floors are divided into 12 wedge-shaped rooms opening on a central lobby area with 3 elevators. Though the rooms are narrow at the entrance, the "point" of the wedge shape, the room was very spacious with a kitchen area, living room, dining/office table with separate bed and bath rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The happy/social hour had high-quality snacks and beverages. The location put numerous dining options within easy walking distance. Only down side was the valet-only parking, adding a considerable expense to the trip. All-in-all, a pleasant stay in Philly ^_^
