The concept behind Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse is simple, regional Italian food with a focus on the grill. Davio's serves everything from aged steaks to simple-yet-unique pasta creations; all prepared by hand, using the finest ingredients. Davio’s has banquet facilities for 15–200 guests. Center City’s Provident Bank Building has high ceilings, large windows and polished walnut floors, consistent with buildings of its era. The penthouse floor private dining room serves as an excellent location for business functions, receptions or a large dinner party. Additionally, arrangements for the entire restaurant may be made for a special function. Semi-Private Areas – 6-40 seated dinner Chairman’s Room – 10-40 seated dinner, 75 Reception Directors Room – 20-72 seated dinner, 100 Reception Chairman’s/ Directors Room – 70-100 seated dinner, 150 Reception Multi-course dinners from $60-$90 per person Lunch $30-$50 per person Passed Hors D’oeuvres $20+ per person/per hour Bring your own wine Sunday- no corkage fee!

A great place to have lunch or dinner especially during restaurant week. We didn't get the chance to try their beef short ribs because the menu was changed for the second restaurant week offer. We ordered every selections on the lunch menu and shared among ourselves. The appetizers were very good especially the Gnocchi that had just the right texture. Our entrees seared tuna was cooked to perfection. However, the carbonara pasta was a little dried even after mixing in the egg yolk. Overall, most of our the dishes were excellent and they were accompanied with outstanding services. We will be back to try something else on their regular menu.

Exceptional food and truly terrible service. I need to be fair because I believe it was our specific server and not necessarily every server. I wish I was seated one table over. Few highlights.... 1) 10 min to be greeted and even given tap water - even though he walked by our table several times 2) my wife asked for a suggestion for cocktail - waiter said " just keep looking, you'll find something you like" 3) asked if there were any specials - waiter said "everything is special" and that was it 4) I asked to have my meat cooked as the chef likes it and he smugly pointed to the undercooked food warning at the bottom of the page 5) tossed silverware on the table between courses

I just had my 60th Birthday Dinner there Saturday night. The food was beyond fantastic. The server Omar was very very good. There were 8 of us there and all the food came out hot and on time and cooked to perfection. When we had a question on a certain liquor some one came to the table to answer it right away! Management made sure the my Birthday Dinner was everything I hoped it would be for my friends and myself. Thank so much for a memorable evening, Tim Stock

Celebrated my birthday there last night. My friends had put it on the reservation form and as soon as we were seated, our server Tonya came right over and said Happy Birthday to me. We had never been before and had a few questions for her and she took time to make suggestions and answer questions. My roommate ordered NY Strip steak with Port Wine sauce and he said it was the best steak he has had - and he eats at several steakhouses. I had the Pan Roasted Maine Lobster, Yukon Gold Potatoes, Green Beans, Lemon Tarragon Butter. It was incredible Tonya and the entire staff were so attentive, always checking in on us - keeping water glasses filled - which is important to me and a sign of attentive staff. We ordered dessert, I got the Creme Brulee and my friend got the souffle. Tonya checked in with us and was personable. When my dessert came with a birthday candle inserted into a Blackberry it was HEAVEN and such a large portion. Our night couldn't have been any better

Brunch. Service was great, nice atmosphere. Excellent wine list. Food was really good for the most part. Steak was cooked perfectly, and the crab cake Benedict served in popovers was quite tasty. The calamari was good and cooked to perfection. I wish there had been more actual calamari and less hot pepper rings (the mix was about 60-40). Truffle fries tasted good but were soft and a little too greasy. The main complaint is that both the steak and the crab cake were sent out of the kitchen on cold plates, so each was lukewarm when we received it. How does this happen at a high-end steakhouse? Every other steakhouse has had to warn us not to touch the plates, and with good reason. This was a bad oversight by whoever was expediting during the Mother’s Day brunch. It didn’t ruin the meal, but it kept it from being a 5-star experience.
