1 Tippling is where you take a date to show them you really "know" Philly. It's comfortably the best cocktail bar in the city, and it's just small enough to feel exclusive while being just big enough to ensure you don't get stuck in line outside. It isn't the cheapest drink you'll get in the city, but it is the best.

It was highly recommended so I went and really enjoyed it. Perfect place to impress a date. The unique cozy upscale environment is as close as you'll get to a 1920s speakeasy. Cocktails are incredible. Would of given a 5 but I caught some attitude from bartender. But still lovely place

Underwhelming cocktails coupled with good service. There are many other places to get a better mixed and much more adventurous cocktail in the city. I did like the ambience of the bar, but I'm not a fan of the lounge seating.
