About

Award Winning photographer Michael W. Heayn was a photographer for the Conshohocken Recorder, Head photographer at the Valley Forge Freedom Foundation, staff photographer at The Times Herald, photographic instructor, A.D. Eisenhower School, Norristown.  Also he has been a Competition Judge.  Michael has been a Professional Photographer for over 44 years. 40 of those years he has been the owner of Michael W. Heayn …photographer. Michael has done thousands of Weddings family and individual portraits and events. 

 The Studio went Digital to better meet customer's needs for photographic excellence, and the demands of today’s high pace lifestyle. All forms of photography are available. A new addition to my studio has been Fine Art Photography. It was a natural transition because of my ability to have total Artistic control of my own art by way of printing it myself, the quality of the paper, inks and canvas material that are available today. Commercial businesses such as IKEA and other corporations showed an interest in my Fine Art Photography. Today my Fine Art Photography is hanging from coast to coast in large companies, banks, doctor's offices, accounting firms, bed and breakfasts and individual homes. I have also entered Juried  Art shows for the past 10 years and have won various awards for my work. My most recent awards were the Award of Excellence from the Ocean City, NJ Boardwalk Art Show, 1st Place for Professional Photography in Cape May, NJ Promenade Art Show (2 years in a row), Best Photography by a Professional from the Greater Norristown Art League, 1st Place Gallery of the Arts Pennridge, Photographic Excellence Award Quakertown Art's Alive (2 years in a row). In addition, I have had numerous 1 man shows throughout the area.
