The Philadelphia Union are quickly turning the heads of the entire Major League Soccer league as they continue a creative game strategy to secure 3 points each match. The Roots Picnic, one of Philadelphia’s premier music festivals, is back for its 12th year! This year, will be unquestionably one to remember. This American hip-hop group completely shaped modern-day hip-hop. The world sees a lot of boy bands, however, none seem to quite compare to New Kids on the Block. This boy band, originally founded in 1984, has won the hearts of countless across the globe. They boast over 80 million record sales globally, as well as winning two American Music Awards. Bill Maher is really a unique, hilarious act. Many are familiar with him from his show, “Real Time with Bill Maher,” which also is the longest running, Emmy nominated talk show. In addition to this, Maher also received a Hollywood Walk of Fame star in 2010, a result of his incredibly successful career. You most definitely are familiar with this group, as they are favorites on hit late-night show, “Saturday Night Live.” They are an American comedy trio consisting of Akiva Schaffer, Andy Samberg, and Jorma Taccone. With Adam Sandler, there isn’t much he doesn’t do. Not only is he an excellent comedian and actor, but he is also a musician and screenwriter. Sandler is widely known for his star roles in hit movies such as, “Billy Madison,” and, “The Waterboy.” Overall, Sandler can make just about anyone laugh, whether it be through song, skit, or just good old fashion jokes. You might recognize his voice from many UFC broadcastings, but his talents go far beyond that. Joe Rogan is really a walking encyclopedia of random facts and information, that he intertwines with his comedy. If you’re a NPR fan, tune your radio into this station! Wait Wait Don’t Tell me! Is a NPR radio Award-winning comedy news quiz show. The host, Peter Sagal, leads a rotating panel consisting of writers, comedians, listener contestants, and celebrity guests through a review of the past weeks news. This is really a unique experience that doesn’t break the bank, and gets you to enjoy an excellent show up close and personal. Brush up on your world news before you come, as who knows, maybe you’ll be called on. 

Who knew Wolverine could put on a show? Hugh Jackman is a jack of all trades. He can act, he can dance, he can sing, really, what can’t he do?
