The great American indie pop band Saint Model is coming to Philly this Monday, February 10th at the Threatre of The Living Arts and this is a concert you won’t want to miss. Saint Model has some of the most underrated music and is performing at a perfect venue to connect with fans as they only have a capacity of 1,000 people. The highly-rated Philadelphia Orchestra is something everyone needs to experience when given the chance, they truly do put on one of the best musical shows around. They are known to be apart of the “Big Five” American orchestras in the country and will be performing in their home venue The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts on Thursday, February 13th at 7:30 pm. The 2-time Emmy nominee Michael Yo originates from Houston, Texas and is known for his comedy and his many other abilities such as being the host of the hit radio show Yo on E! Michael Yo is always keeping busy and keeps busy on all platforms he’s on. He is coming to Punch Line Philly this Friday, February 7th at 9:45 pm. This will be one show you won’t want to miss as he takes a lot of craft into his comedy and doesn’t disappoint, so start out your weekend to a perfect start with this comedy show.

The great and powerful Sebastian Maniscalco will be coming to Philly on his You Bother Me tour for two days at The Wind Creek Event Center from February 14th to the 16th. Sebastian Maniscalco is a record-breaking comedian selling out arena’s and theatres, he has won the Comedian of the Year award from Billboard and named as one of the Top 10 highest-grossing comedians in 2017 and 2018 by Forbes. He has three Netflix specials and has even featured in the highly rated 10 nominated oscar film The Irishman. This is a great opportunity to see one of the best comedians we have around, so don’t pass this opportunity up.

Kick-off your week right with a unique comedy show tour being held right here in at The Met on February 10th at 8 pm. These two artists have been working together for years now, from works like their 5 seasons running tv show Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!. Their style is definitely unique and that’s what makes their shows great, their off-the-wall style of comedy has taken off and always keeps their guests guessing on what they’ll do next. What better way to enjoy a Thursday night evening with a comedy show at Punch Line Philly. We got a great show for you here with Ali Siddiq performing on Thursday, February 20th at 8 pm. Ali Siddiq has a unique style of comedy as he began his career during his six years of incarceration and began to develop not only a career in comedy but also public speaking and fundraising for non-profits. Ali Siddiq spends a lot of his time supporting his non-profit “Ink in Me” which aids in helping youth in developing interpersonal communications skills.

The year of the dog has arrived and Philly has a thrilling welcoming to the celebrations of The Lunar New Year. Events fall through the whole first week of February, as per usual Philly goes all out!   There will be a Lunar New Year celebration from noon to 3 pm Saturday at Rail Park. The Philadelphia Suns Lion Dance will start around 2 pm and they’re also looking for volunteers for the event, check it out on their site here! So don’t miss this chance to celebrate the Lunar New Year and chance to celebrate with friends and family. 

The annual Philadelphia Auto Show is here and returning to the Pennsylvania Convention Center. Regardless if you’re into cars or not this is a show for all to see, as it hosts some of the most exotic and unique vehicles. The show begins February 8th and runs until February 17th, more information about the schedule can be found here. Tickets start out at $14 for general admission and $7 for children (7-12).

The 16th annual World Cafe Live Beer Fest is being held right in our backyards and this is an opportunity too good to pass up for all beer lovers. There will be various amounts of pours available as you’d be able to taste test (yes it’s unlimited) some of the greatest beers in the area. There will be live music and catered food at this event as well as chances to win prizes such as concert tickets and some of their merch! So reserve your ticket quickly and get their early as seating is not guaranteed to everyone.

Join in on the nation’s largest and longest-running event that showcases truly amazing work from floral and landscape designers! This event being help at the Philadelphia Convention Center will be held for a little more than a week and we really recommend seeing this while it lasts. Try to avoid large crowds by visiting in the evenings as you’ll want to take your time and be able to see as much as possible here.

First Friday in Old City is where you’ll find the highest creativity pieces of artwork done across the city and this is a great opportunity to check some unique pieces. For the first week, there’s going to the final weekend sale for Millesime Furniture which sells some of the most unique pieces of art on the market, with various amounts of other art galleries available. If you’re into performing arts and theater, then you’re in luck! Philly is hosting a 10-day celebration, yes that’s right, 10 full days of some of the most vibrant artists and organizations. This celebration will have over 300 events all of which are open to the public and tickets start out completely free! With presidents coming up towards the end of this month we thought that this would be a great opportunity to appreciate the history Philly has waiting for everyone. We recommend checking out Independence National Historical Park. This is where the U.S. Constitution was signed and finalized and where the Liberty Bell is waiting to see as well. With the arrival of Black History Month, it’s important that we all celebrate Black History and culture. We recommend the Fredrick Douglass exhibit being held at The Library Company of Philadelphia! They’ll be celebrating one of the most influential human beings that helped establish justice and equality amongst African Americans.

With the closing end of the winter season coming up, this is a great chance to squeeze in a last-minute ice skating session at the Blue Cross RiverRink. All sorts of food and beverages will be served here, including the famous Chickie’s and Pete’s Crab Fries! So from the fire pits to bundle up next to or the warmly decorative cabins come on down to enjoy this festive seasonal winter park before it closes up shop!

You won’t want to miss this especially if you’re a Jurassic Park fan, with Jurassic World Live tour coming to Philadelphia! This show will be premiering at the Wells Fargo Center starting on February 14th through to the 17th. The show will premiere over 20 characters including 9 dinosaurs and yes there will be a T-rex. This organization is all promoting healthy and educational experiences with interactions of others and they are setting up this event at our own Philadelphia Zoo. Children will be able to experience educational interactive games as well of seeing the live-animal exhibits of course. This is an exciting opportunity for any kids or young musicians interested in learning and collaborating with the School of Rock and World Cafe Live! LiveConnections is a non-profit that focuses on specializes in music education and doing so in a collaborative style, with this event being hosted at World Cafe Live this is looks going to be a great turn out! The two programs collorabating together with helping kids discover their musical talents is an awesome thing and should consider this event if your child is interested in music.
