Jefferson Dad Vail Regatta
Friday-Saturday, May 10-11thView TicketsEach year, thousands of students gather to what make what we know as the Jefferson Dad Vail Regatta, the largest collegiate regatta in the United States. The competitors take to racing on the Schuylkill River, on a 2,000-meter long course. The course starts just north of Kelly Drive-Hunting Park Avenue intersection, ending at the Grand Stand finish line just above the Columbia Avenue Bridge. Moreover, there are plentiful amounts of ample viewing sites. However, be sure to arrive early as thousands flock to catch this spectacular event.
