Tell us about yourself and your passion for style.
I am a CPA turned stylist. I’ve been told several times that this is an interesting combination of professions, but to me, it makes sense. I turned my passion into a full-time pursuit and really make a difference in people’s lives.
My business background supports all that is necessary to own a business and my understanding of daily work stress: getting dressed for work should be the least stressful part of your day and that’s where I stand out: I save you money AND time.
"I turned my passion into a full-time pursuit and really make a difference in people’s lives."
Why Worth?
I was a client of Worth for ten years before I opened my agency with them. My appreciation for quality over quantity resonates with their approach to style. More importantly, I wasn’t finding what I wanted in the mall or on-line for my board meetings, presentations and every day. Since Worth is direct to consumer, the price for the quality is well below what’s charged by major designers that share the same fabric mills in Italy and France.

How did you get involved with Worth?
Worth has been serving women’s style for almost 30 years via direct-sale, trunk shows. A girlfriend of mine told me about it, that she shops with Worth and that I would really like it too. Having Worth made my life so much easier since I no longer had to waste my time and energy in the mall.

What excites you most about fashion?
The ability to create and display someone’s personal brand through style is what fashion is all about. It allows each one of us to tell the world who we are without saying a word.

What makes the Worth collection different?
Service is what makes Worth different. Let’s face it, you can buy clothes anywhere, and yes, some companies have a stylist service. However, if given the choice, between returning ill-fitted on-line purchases or working with someone who knows you and who saves you time and money, wouldn’t you choose the latter?
"Service is what makes Worth different."
What makes what you do different?
I understand and emphasize the value of time and money. I’ve aligned myself with a brand that creates qualitative pieces that you can reach for time and again. There is no time wasted finding wardrobe solutions and in fact, my closet audits, streamline your life so you can spend that extra time being a boss.

Why is styling important to you?
As a wardrobe stylist, I help others build their wardrobe, supporting their personal brand. Each person has different needs but at the end of the day, if I can help someone feel confident enough and see them smile at themselves in the mirror, my job is complete.
"...if I can help someone feel confident enough and see them smile at themselves in the mirror, my job is complete."
What does someone’s style say about them?
Someone’s style can say “look at me” or it can say “listen to me.” What you wear speaks volumes without uttering a word. Let your clothes emulate your brand.

Your favorite piece of style advice?
Fit is everything. Believe it or not, 7 pounds is one size and one inch of clothing. That can make or break your outfit choice of the day. Your second-best friend should be your tailor; your first? The image in the mirror.
"...7 pounds is one size and one inch of clothing."
Any styling tips for 2019?
Regardless of what year it is, your clothes need to fit. Always check the fit from shoulder to shoulder. The better the quality, the more precise the fit. The right fit makes all the difference and elevates your look immediately.
Trends change more quickly in 2019 than 2009. Embrace what looks good on you first and remember the trendier look will be out of style faster than you can pay your credit card.
Lastly, don’t forget the shoes! I’m wild about the right shoe completing the outfit.
