Talk about inspiration for greatness: Our hotel lands guests directly across the street from the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, marking the turf where our nation got its start. (No pressure, right?) It's not all serious business around here, though, as our 13,000 square feet of state-of-the-art meeting space welcomes an element of Kimpton-specific playfulness that keeps the mood light. Our creatively-curated spaces feature 15-foot ceilings and promote cultural diversity with a focus on globalization as well as locally-inspired décor items. Other draws include the stunning, nearly 3,300-square-foot Lafayette Ballroom, on-site tech assistance and A/V support, high-speed Internet WiFi access and catering from the spectacular Red Owl Tavern. After meetings break, your colleagues will enjoy unwinding on a borrowed yoga mat, during in-room spa services or while sipping cocktails on the city's only true rooftop lounge. We offer several meeting and event room options. For 45 guests our first floor Girard Room is ideal with high ceilings and modern décor. The room rental is $500 with a food and beverage minimum of $2,000 before taxes and gratuity. Lunch options range from $45-$55 per person.

Pretty nice place. My room was cramped but clean and stylish. The showers spray water all over the place which felt like a very questionable decision, particularly because they have wallpaper which gets sprayed and of course that is going to fall off. Also annoying to have water all over the floor. Shower issue is pretty minor though. The staff is great! Overall a nice place.

Most recent time staying there, was coming from the Eagles game and missed their happy hour due to traffic. They then offered me a bottle of wine of my choice. Excellent service and the views of Independence Hall doesn't hurt either

Very beautiful old historic hotel. Beautiful, clean and stylish. The whole staff, that's everyone were just absolutely amazing and very professional. Threat everyone like royality. Really make you feel at home. They have a restaurant The Red Owl Tavern which I like a lot. Nice rustic design. Clean and a very nice atmosphere. Good specials, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also during the week from 5-6pm there is a free wine event, which is very good. The rooms are very big, very clean, nice and very comfortable beds. I shall return

Just my favorite hotel in Philadelphia. Cool decoration, absolutely top service and a phenomenal breakfast. You feel like being in Europe in this hotel. The location is perfect and sight seeing is within walking distance. Wine tasting events complete the outstanding experience of my stay. Highly recommendable.

Absolutely amazing hotel, jaw dropping view as soon as you enter the place! A combination of vintage design and all high-tech facilities. Alice in Wonderland theme interior design theme makes you feel like experiencing the fairytale! Amazing view of the city from the rod top corner suite. A must live experience! If there was more than 5 stars I would give it all! Well done people!
