About

There was a soup lady with humble origins. While working a church holiday bizarre in Washington D.C.,
a little boy kept coming up to Missy asking for samples of her soup. He finally dragged his mother over for a taste,
“Mommy, mommy this is the Soup Lady!…you have to buy her soup.”
And Missy’s catering business was born!

Chef Missy is still be the Soup Lady to her close friends and family.
Having been classically trained at Creative Cuisine in Cambridge, Ma.,
she has spent the last 20 years catering intimate and elegant events up and down the East Coast
from Nantucket & New York City to Washington, D.C. & Philadelphia.
Chef Missy has done everything from working as a private chef on a family
​yacht to catering events for New York power brokers and White House elite.
